As Head of the Pattern Department, I led and supervised the design team, which included pattern cutters, designers, graders, and machinists. My role involved creating and developing patterns for both couture ( Lecoanet Hemant) and ready-to-wear (GENES) collections for women and men, while also overseeing and refining patterns based on feedback from fit meetings. Additionally, I played a key role in made-to-measure fittings, ensuring each garment was impeccably tailored. It was a true privilege to contribute to the brand's continued success and growth.
During my time in India, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in its rich cultural heritage and learn the intricate art of craft-making. I was particularly fascinated by the craftsmanship at Lecoanet Hemant, where artisans created exquisite pieces for prestigious brands such as Balmain and Chloé. It was truly inspiring to witness such exceptional artistry firsthand.
